My Experience with Sattvik Hand Care Nourishing Cream:
The hand cream comes packaged in a plastic jar with a screw cap. It is quite secure to move around in your travel bag, but not handy enough to be carried out in your bag everyday. So if you are looking for a hand cream that you can carry everywhere with you, then you would be disappointed. I really wish they had a tube packaging, or may be a small bottle that’s easy to fit it!
The texture of this cream is very lotion like. Its easy to spread and easy to absorb formula makes it a great hand cream for my dry hands. Since most of my time is spent working on a laptop, I prefer non greasy creams, but then most of them are good as maintenance creams and do not do any major repair work that dry hands need. This Sattvik nourishing hand care cream with almond oil and grape extracts heals my skin so well without being greasy.
Since it doesn’t feel oily, those with oily skin can also make use of it during winters. BTW since it was so hydrating, I tried it on my soles too and guess what! It worked great! However I use it on my feet once in a while and only before I sleep. I can not walk barefoot and it feels weird with this on my feet!
Sattvik Nourishing Hand Care Cream Swatch:
Sattvik nourishing hand cream gets absorbed into skin quickly without leaving behind an oily residue. There is a visible difference to the dry hand skin which looks well taken care of. My hand skin is very sensitive to water and soap as well. So it invariably starts peeling if I am careless for even 2 days. With regular usage of this I am actually quite happy to say that this winter, I have not developed a single crack on the side of my knuckles. No peeling too!
Initially I did use it 3-4 times a day as my hands were in bad shape and in needed of extreme care .With time I have reduced the use to twice everyday. Once in the morning and once in the evening.
Sattvik Nourishing Hand Care Cream absorbed into skin
It takes about a week’s time to soften the hard cuticles. So this is great for the nails as well.
Sattvik hand cream smells fruity sweet (a lot like coconut milk) which I am not too fond of, but then it is mild so not a big issue for me.
My Rating: 4 out of 5
My Recommendation: Definitely yes! The quality, quantity, natural ingredients and price makes Sattvik Nourishing Hand Cream with Almond Oil and Grape Extracts a must have hand cream for dry winters. Of course the packaging is not as handy as everyone would prefer, but then since it works so well when used twice a day that I do not mind. You can always carry a maintenance hand cream in your bag for your day out if you need to use one!
